Proactive Boat Care
Maximum safety for your boat
Reinventing the visual inspection
Monitoring your boat 24/7
Proactive Boat Care goes far beyond visual inspection. We are using the cutting-edge Internet-of-Things (IoT) technology to monitor all the vital parameters of your boat. We can detect potential threats for your boat long before they become a real hazard. As a boat owner, you can now equip your vessel with our sensors which can sense the presence of the water, detect smoke/heat in the cabin or simply monitor your batteries. If any of the measurements should raise any concern, the system will automatically alert you as an owner, but even more importantly, it can notify your home marina. Based on those warnings, the marina staff can take appropriate actions to save your property.
This sensor monitors the bilge and detects the presence of water. Whenever water is detected in your bilge or pumped out from the bilge, you will be notified via the mobile application and email. Your marina can be notified as well.
This sensor monitors your batteries and provides you with all the relevant information and informs you of actions to be taken, such as when to recharge your batteries or whether there is a sudden voltage drop due to a potential short circuit. The battery life expectancy can be significantly extended with our sensors and proper maintenance (up to 10 years).
This sensor will warn you if smoke or heat are detected in you cabin, indicating a potential fire threat. You will be notified, but more importantly your home marina can also be notified immediately. This simple and inexpensive sensor can prevent enormous damage not only on your boat, but on nearby boats as well.

Mobile application for boat owners
The Proactive Boat Care mobile application displays all data and information collected from different sources in a simple and structured form. Within seconds, you can see the latest photo of your boat, an inspection log from the marina with the list of marina employees who checked your boat and potentially carried out activities required to protect your property. You can instantly check all the measurements collected from the various sensors you installed on your boat as well as possible alerts or warnings generated by those sensors.
The latest photo taken during the visual inspection is displayed in high quality.
An inspection log for the last 7 days, displaying the list of marina employees who checked your boat and potentially carried out activities required to protect your property.
Measurements from all the installed sensors are displayed in simple form. You can click on the measurements for more information.
If an alert requires the owner’s attention or action, they will be notified via the mobile application and email. The marina will be notified as well.
Proactive Boat Care works best when connected to your home marina
If your home marina is not equipped with our software yet, and you as a marina customer want to have the all the benefits described above, please recommend us to your home marina. If your home marina upgrades to our Proactive Boat Care software based on your recommendation, we will provide you with a 50 % discount on our sensors for the first contract year!
However, our Proactive Boat Care system can be used even if your marina is not equipped with our software. In this case you will use the application in the STANDALONE MODE, where only you as the owner will receive all the alerts from the system. In this case, please check if the position of your boat is covered with our IoT network. Most EU countries are covered by our network.
We can significantly extend the life expectancy of your batteries
Batteries are generally supposed to last at least 7-10 years according to the manufacturers’ specifications. However, due to improper maintenance, batteries usually last 3-4 years. Most boat owners are not aware that batteries discharge on their own at a rate of up to 5 % per month. If you do not charge your batteries immediately, sulfation occurs and your battery permanently lose some of its capacity.
The ideal battery maintenance would be to have a permanent shore supply and modern battery charger which has the functionality to continuously charge the batteries (float mode). However, a permanent shore supply is not allowed in most marinas due to the fire & safety regulations. Permanent shore supply is also very problematic because of a significant increase in galvanic currents (a closed electrical circuit through the common ground wire with the marina).
Therefore, the only workable solution is to receive the information on when to recharge the batteries and to recharge them properly either by yourself, by your marina staff or by subcontractors. Our system will notify you when to recharge you batteries to prevent damages from sulfatization.
